Maras and Moray Full Day

Day 1

We will pick you up from your hotel between 08:15 to 08:30 to go to the agricultural laboratory in Moray. This beautiful journey takes approximately one hour and 20 minutes.

On the trip, we will see the snow-capped peaks of the Andes, a few villages, and finally get to see the fascinating terrace display at Moray, where we appreciate three terraces carved deep into the earth that was used to determine the optimal conditions of cultivations.

When we finish exploring Moray, we will board the bus to the salt mines of Maras. This town is known as an ancient center of salt production and is believed to date back to pre-Inca times. More than 3,000 salt pits are carved into the mountainside, filled daily by a stream of water.

Finally, we will return to Cusco, where we will arrive between 2:30 am to 3:00 pm.
