Machupicchu by Bus 2 Days / 1 Night

Day 1

We will start with picking up from your hotel between 06:15, and 06:45 am for a trip of approximately 7 hours. During this trip, you will pass through the town of Ollantaytambo, where you will make a brief stop to relax, and then we will continue the journey to Santa Teresa, where we will have lunch. After lunch, we will continue with the trip to Hidroeléctrica, where we will begin the walk of approximately 3 hours along the railway until we reach Aguas Calientes. Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, we will easily find your hotel (the town of Aguas Calientes is tiny).

Day 1

The tour begins very early, taking the bus to the citadel of Machu Picchu (25 minutes on the bus); upon arrival at the gate, we will meet the guide and group to start the guided tour. It will take approximately 2:30 hrs; after that, you will have free time to explore Machu Picchu.

After this incredible experience, you will take the bus back to Aguas Calientes to start the walk no later than 11:15 am to Hidroeléctrica, where the bus will be waiting for you to return to Cusco. The bus leaves Hydroelectric at 2:30 pm and arrives in Cusco at approximately 10:00 pm.
