Culture and adventure experience in Cusco 5 Days / 4 Nights

Day 1

Upon arrival in Cusco, we will be waiting for you at the airport to take you to your hotel. Once you check in, we recommend you rest for a couple of hours to acclimatize and then have a light lunch.

We will pick you up from the hotel for the City Tour in the afternoon. We will visit archaeological attractions such as Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, and Tambomachay and colonial attractions such as the cathedral and the Qoricancha temple.

It will be an incredible experience as an introduction to the history of Cusco!

Day 2

After breakfast, you will be ready to start a new adventure. This time you will tour the Sacred Valley, we will begin to know the history of the Pisac archaeological center, and then you will know its picturesque market that reflects its history and culture. After this incredible experience, we will have lunch in Urubamba in one of the buffet restaurants where you can enjoy different typical dishes of the region. After this culinary experience, we will be transferred to the fortress of Ollantaytambo to delight us with its architectural beauty. Finally, we will return to Cusco; we will visit the town of Chinchero, where we will appreciate a typical and picturesque village of the Sacred Valley, where we will be able to visualize the beautiful colonial temple built on the bases of an Inca building. We will appreciate the gorgeous textiles made by the inhabitants.

Note: After the tour in Ollantaytambo, you have two options: return to Cusco and visit Chinchero en route or stay in Ollantaytambo to take the train to Aguas Calientes to visit Machu Picchu the next day.

Day 3

One of the most visited destinations in the world cannot be missing from our selection of what to see in Peru!

Very early in the morning, we will pick you up and transfer you to the bus station to board the bus to travel for 1 hour 45 minutes until you reach the train station located in the town of Ollantaytambo. You will board the train at this station that passes through the Sacred Valley of the Incas. On a fantastic journey from the Andes to the edge of the jungle in Aguas Calientes, this beautiful train trip lasts one h 45min. Upon arrival in this small town, our representative will be waiting to assist you until you take the bus that will take you to the Archaeological Sanctuary of Machu Picchu; the trip takes 30 minutes. Finally, we will arrive at the sanctuary of Machu Picchu, where you will feel the magic of this ancient place and enjoy the impressive view from the Inca citadel. After the unforgettable moment, our guide will explain this beautiful place’s history and architecture; you will also know the areas in which the fortress was divided, which, despite being isolated, could be self-sustaining. After the guided tour, you can enjoy Machu Picchu in your way, take photos and explore the place freely. In the afternoon, you will have time to have lunch (lunch not included) and explore the town of Aguas Calientes a little, which has many restaurants and craft shops. Then we will board the train back to Ollantaytambo, where you will find the bus to return to Cusco.

Day 4

Trf out Hotel – Airport

Two hours before your flight, we will pick you up from your hotel to transfer to the airport and tell you Goodbye!
